image: Lamborghini JARAMA at BADEN BADEN 2004 Oldtimer meeting 2004 Oldtimer Meeting at Baden Baden - since about ten years there is an annual two days meeting of Oldtimers right in the city of Baden-Baden. The atmosphere is gorgeus ... and cant be better anywhere .. Owners are invited to stay there overnight with there cars, picnic tables and chairs, there are a lot of shows and life - bands during saturday night and many different awards for everybodies classic. This year the invited make was Lamborghini and Bentley - but on saturday only a very few Lambos showed up - like me and a very particular Miura..

Alltogether there were about 230 cars, HORCH and BUGATTI included. My favorit car: The huge Cadillac convertible ....

1971 Lamborghini Jarama vin # 10268 frame off restoration now with MOV' IT front brakes

Built 1971, in verde antille, interior:senape delivered to the famous Italian pilot Zanarotti, Verona, first immatriculation in 1973, restored in 1986 with new engine for unleaded use, two Countach cooling fans, two split radiators for oil cooling instead of the air condition ones, two Red BOSCH coils with resistor ( Bosch order # 0221102081) for much better starting, idling and perfomance and Porsche 928 S front brakes - all done for todays traffic with traffic lights and traffic jams. The rear mirror is NOT missing - it is original! Just turn the head - the rear view is excellent.

Every passenger is thrilled and surprised about space, comfort, handling, roadholding and performance. The JARAMA ist the last front-end engined Lamborghini and Ferrucio's favoured one. I like this car because of its comfort and handling, its sound and pure design, its reliability. Even today it is a very fast car for two persons with some luggage. Interesting detail as to this cars history - the air oulets on the front fenders show already the step 2 in the developpment of the car, but is not yet enough as to the heat in the very narrow engine compartment. The "S" version had an air intake on the hood and a small oil cooler under the bumper.

MOV' IT offers brakes for classic and modern Lambos

The JARAMA is a lambo, how Ferrucio wanted it to be. As the 350 GT, the 400 GT and the ISLERO the GT 2+2 offers hightech and high performance with a very comfortable ambiance wrapped in a pure Italian design. Built on a shortened frame of the ESPADA with the wheel base of the VW BEATLE it handles much better than the ESPADA - and surprises with more weight, due to a very solid bodywork, especially from the door backwards. to me it is the purest design of all GT 2+2 .Its a miracle how the engine fits inside, its great how the exhaust is hidden in the middle console (compared to Ferrari ) its such exiting searching the limits of the suspension and it is unbelievable how straight the car runs at high speed. (compared to mid engined Lambos. No other GT till today offers so much space for two passengers and such a 360 ° visibility.
