image: OLdtimer Meeting 2005 image: OLdtimer Meeting 2005 2005 Oldtimer Meeting at Baden Baden - since about 29 years there is an annual two days meeting of Oldtimers right in the city of Baden-Baden. The atmosphere is gorgeus ... and cant be better anywhere .. Owners are invited to stay there overnight with there cars, picnic tables and chairs, costumes, flower decorations, there are a lot of shows and life-music during saturday night and many different awards for everybodies classic. This year the special brand was Lamborghini and Bentley - but on saturday only a very few showed up - as me, a MIURA, a 400 GT and some Diablo. Alltogether there were about 350 cars, HORCH and BUGATTI included. My favorit car: the incredible perfect 1961 Imperial Convertible "SHRINER"  of Mr. Brezout , who won the Concours Louis Vouton several times. The car is much better than new ...

I myself showed for the first time my 1960 Imperial four door sedan, and the people got crazy about this. I never expected so many visitors making a zillion of pictures of all details. Since there participated some 1959 Cadillac it was obvious at once for everybody that an Imperial has much more unique details than those very popular Cadillacs. At the end the car got SECOND PLACE of all American Cars. Guess who won?  The 1961.

A pity that the administration did not park our two Imperials side by side. Mr. Brezout was well prepared for an evening with CLASS.
